As it turns out, it is difficult to buy dog coats that will fit a lean miniature dachshund. It wasn’t until I discovered the pomppa coats that I had succeeded in finding something that was both long enough, and adjustable enough to fit my skinny mini. Yet it still wasn’t perfect, since I had to get a much larger size to cover her back, the coat would rub on her front legs. A few stitches on the chest piece and it fixed the issue so it was no big deal. I went to purchase a second pomppa coat when I saw this coat by non-stop. I was apprehensive, it’s already hard to buy a fitted jacket as it is, and returns/ exchanges are such a hassle. Not to mention the jacket cost a lot more then I was prepared to spend. So of course I bought it. MAN IS MY DOG SO GLAD I DID. Its WARM, arguably more so than her other jackets, yet thin enough where I can just stuff it in my pocket or she can wear it as an under-layer. It’s very adjustable, stylish, and The best part is the chest piece doesn’t rub her legs. It’s like it was made custom for her. I have to give a huge thanks to Sheila and the clean run staff who checked the sizing for me prior to purchase. If it wasn’t for them, it would probably still be sitting in my cart. Highly recommend!
