Not suitable for outdoor use or storage

Purchased a set of 12 in 2020 and the caps on the poles come off when the wind blows. They are quite exhausting to put together let alone take apart and they rusted within the first year. Now 2024, most of the hinges are rusted, poles snapped off the base and aren't replaceable. Not quite worth it at a depreciation rate of 25% per year and that's being generous.

We have lots of customers using the poles outside, but you don't want to leave them outside. You also want to wipe them down if they're wet before you store them. We do include a note in Care & Maintenance - Please be aware that when using this product outdoors it is important to monitor the base for oxidation. In the event that rust appears, please spray the oxidized area using a rust-preventative product or paint. Lawn fertilizers and other chemicals can also be extremely corrosive. Since you purchased the set of 12, they have been redesigned and rather than being one long set of 12, they are now 2 sets of 6 so they are easier to handle and set up. We do sell replacement poles - https://www.cleanrun.com/product/handlers_choice_training_replacement_weave_poles/index.cfm - and you can glue the caps if they are coming off. We try to sell affordable obstacle options as well as more expensive ones that are designed to last a lifetime.
