Lisa will cover the steps for teaching your dog independent obstacle discriminations. This includes looking at what cues to use to direct your dog through an obstacle discrimination sequence as well as when to cue. You'll learn how to build and develop your dog's discrimination skills as well as increase your distance from him. 

What sets this course apart is its comprehensive, step-by-step approach. You're not just thrown into the deep end — you'll start with groundwork exercises for discrimination without equipment and move on to working with hoops, jumps, and tunnels as you progressively build up to complex discriminations. The last four weeks of the course will focus on contact/tunnel discriminations. This methodical approach ensures that both you and your dog develop a rock-solid foundation. 

Multiple video examples and training assignments are given each week. The videos show different dogs being trained, including Lisa's young pup Inspire, who you'll see learning discriminations from the very beginning stages.

Note: This class registration allows one dog/handler team to participate in the course. If you want to work another dog as well, then you must purchase another Premier spot for the second dog. 

Prerequisites

Open to all dogs over 10 months of age that can perform hoops or jumps, tunnels, and contact obstacles. 

Equipment and space needed

• 2 tunnels

• 6 jumps or hoops

• A-frame or dogwalk

• 60 x 60 if using the A-frame; longer area if using the dogwalk.

How do I access my Learning Center purchase?

After you complete your purchase using your credit card or PayPal, you will receive 2 email confirmations: the first is a receipt acknowledging that your order has been received and the second email contains the link for your Clean Run Learning Center program. Click on the link in the email to complete enrollment. If you already have a Learning Center account, then you will go directly to your educational program. If you do not, then you will enter your email address and a password to use for this Learning Center program and any future ones your purchase. Please be aware that this is a separate account you are establishing on https://cleanrunonline.com/home and it is not the same as your Clean Run website account (although you can use the same email and password for both accounts).

Refund Policy

We offer a 90% refund for the class if you request a cancellation at least 5 days before the class begins. There are no refunds once the course has started.
