A treat toy for pups of all sizes that isn't made with any Velcro!

The Treat Hugger will hold any treat, from a single piece of kibble to a larger cookie. Just push the treat in between the two stuffed sections of the toy and toss away! The pressure of the stuffing holds the treat firmly in place. And, unlike food toys made with Velcro, the treat is easily accessible to your dog without him having to open anything.

The Treat Hugger is particularly good for dogs that don't like the sound or feeling of Velcro or that won't open Velcro treat toys on their own, for very small dogs that find even the small Lotus Ball too big, and for dogs that prefer a soft, plush toy.

The treat area is 4" long, 3-1/4" wide, and 2-1/4" high. We've added fun fringes to help make transitioning a food-motivated dog to toy play fun and easy. The Treat Hugger was designed by Rachel Evers, an agility instructor in California.

Machine washable.

Available in assorted fleece patterns and colors; please allow us to choose for you.

The BEST food toy ever
My terrier poodle mix is not a good eater. Food in a bowl has limited value for him. Put kibble in this toy and OMG the game is on! Mealtime became the best time thanks to the treat hugger. And yes, I do have to refill it multiple times to feed meals but he's only 12 pounds so it's not a big deal and it's worth it to me to see him perk up for meals.

Great Treat Holder
This is a great alternative to the Lotus ball. The treat stays in and is easily accessible. My wire dachshund really likes it. And it doesn't rip his beard lol. Plus no Velcro to wear out.

My girl loves this toy!
My Lab loves this toy. I use it as a reward for her weave poles in agility, since she is not a fan of other toys that do not involve food. She enjoys digging the treats out. We have used the lotus ball (which she also likes) but over the time the velcro has worn out and the treats go flying. This is a great addition. We have 3 of them now since they can get a little crunchy with all of that happy dog saliva (: This toy even has it's own name "Pounce". As soon as I say "pounce" she looks ahead knowing this toy is being thrown out for her.
