Aniseed (pimpinella anisum), or Anise for short, is one of the 3 target odors used by the NACSW™ (National Association of Canine Scent Work®). It is also used by AKC, CPE, PSD, UKC, and C-Wags.

All of the essential oils we sell are 100% pure (they contain no fillers or additives that will alter the scent), therapeutic-grade, and steam-distilled. The plants used to manufacture the oils are farmed following organic practices. NO pesticides, synthetic chemicals, herbicides, GMOs, or harmful chemicals are ever used during any stage of the growing or distillation process. Each batch of oil produced is analyzed in a laboratory to ensure purity and that the oil is free of contaminants.

Storage

Oils are shipped in an amber bottle with an easy-open cap. We recommend keeping the caps on your oil vials when you're storing them to prevent evaporation and potential leakage. We do not recommend storing vials with a dropper lid on them; the rubber bulb on the dropper can degrade and the oil will leak out and make a smelly mess. We also strongly suggest keeping your droppers separated from your vials so that you don't get oil on the outside of the vials. For this reason, we sell our droppers with a clear glass vial where you can store them after using. You can then store the vial with the oil and the vial with the dropper in a jar or one of our Mylar bags; essential oils do not disintegrate Mylar.

Store at room temperature in an air-tight container with the cap, not the dropper, in a place that is safe from children and dogs.

Never expose essential oils to an open flame.

Anise Shipping Note

Anise Oil can solidify during shipment with the colder temperatures of winter. If this happens, set the vial of oil in a warm bowl of water until the oil returns to a liquid state (usually only a few minutes).

• 1 dram vial (approx. 75 drops, 4 ml, or 1/8 oz.)
• 2 dram vial (approx. 150 drops, 8 ml, or 1/4 oz.)
• 4 dram vial (approx. 300 drops, 16 ml, or 1/2 oz.)
