What is resilience?

A resilient dog is better able to bounce back after being confronted with a stressful situation. They are able to relax in different environments and they are curious in new situations about new dogs and new people, but not fearful. A resilient dog reacts appropriately to things happening in their environment and is happy and playful.

In this free on-demand mini course, you will learn how to give your dog agency by teaching them "default behaviors." Your dog will be able to ask politely for things like access to the outdoors or play.

When you teach your dog that their behavior matters, it builds your dog's confidence and reduces stress.

Equipment and space needed

Minimal equipment is needed. Besides a dog, you will want to have a treat bag, ideally a clicker (but not required), and a toy if your dog likes to play with toys.

Depending on your expectations, very little space is required. All of the games can be practiced in an average-sized room in someone’s home.

How do I access the webinar?

There is no charge for this presentation, but you will have to complete the checkout process and pay for any other items you order. After you finish checking out, you will receive 2 email confirmations: the first is a receipt acknowledging that your order has been received and the second email contains the link for your Clean Run Learning Center program. Just click on the link in the email to complete enrollment. If you already have a Learning Center account, then you will go directly to your educational program. If you do not, then you will enter your email address and a password to use for this Learning Center program and any future ones your purchase.
